Sinan Helvacı
Sinan Helvacı was born in 1990 in Istanbul. He started his theater career in 2010 while studying at Saint Joseph High School, preparing choreographies for various theatre projects. For the first time he appeared in the TV Series “Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki” with the character “Gökmen” in 2010. In 2011 he started to study at Mimar Sinan State Conservatory Theater Department. Then, he dropped out of this school and, he moved to France where he graduated from Sorbonne University Theater and Cours Florent. In 2016, he completed his master's degree at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. During his master education, he appeared in lots of films such as “The Bridge”, “Steps”, “There Are Walls Between Us” and “Remarkable”.
In 2017 “Kantsaywhere” which he wrote script and acted, made its first screening at the Rhodes Island Film Festival. The movie was also screened at the British Film Institute. In 2018, Sinan Helvacı played in “Frame”, written and directed by Can Koroğlu. The movie was screened at the Moscow International Short Film Festival. In 2019, he played the character of “Musa” in named “Kapı” film of Nihat Durak. His acting performance as “Raif” at his last TV series project named “Kadın” was very appreciated.
